The WNY Book Arts Center will host its annual Buffalo BookFest Saturday.
The free festival – which will run from noon to 5 p.m. at the center, 468 Washington St. – is dedicated to printing and the book arts. It will highlight the region’s most talented craftspeople, artisans and writers.
Highlights will include steamroller printmaking, bookmaking, letterpress cards and posters, as well as printmaking for kids.
An after-party that includes dinner and six featured artist exhibits will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Barrel Factory, 65 Vandalia St., in the Old First Ward. You must be 21 or older to attend. For $30 tickets and more information, visit wnybookarts.org/events.
