Vandals damage cabin at Boy Scout Camp Stonehaven

TOWN OF LEWISTON – Vandals caused extensive damage recently when they broke into the largest of the cabins at the Greater Niagara Frontier Council Boy Scouts Camp Stonehaven on Albright Road, town police reported.

Police said someone cut a screen and broke a window to gain entry to the Niagara Cabin on the evening of June 23. Once inside, the intruders pulled down smoke detectors and discharged a fire extinguisher in the kitchen area.

Officers reported that some picnic tables nearby also were thrown into Quarry Lake on the property. No damage estimate was given.
