Driver crashes into fence, faces aggravated DWI charge

An Irving man who drove into a fence Tuesday morning in Cattaraugus County had a blood-alcohol level more than double the legal limit, according to state police.

Trevor John, 23, crashed on Burning Spring Road in Perrysburg just after 6 a.m. He failed field sobriety tests at the scene and registered a BAC of 0.21 percent at the Collins barracks, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Police issued John traffic tickets for Perrysburg Town Court for July 13.
