Pegula Sports and Entertainment announced Wednesday it has formed a Buffalo-based marketing and communications agency called PicSix Creative.
Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which manages the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, previously centralized its in-house marketing, creative services and communications to work on projects related to the teams and other Pegula-owned entities. PicSix is a new agency that builds on that same combination of resources by offering those services to outside companies, said Don Heins, director of communications for PSE.
PicSix employees have already worked on projects that include launching the 2016 New Era NFL Draft cap, marketing campaigns for the Bills, Sabres and Bandits, and brand development for SEAR Steakhouse in the Avant, the company said.
PicSix's services include graphic design, video production, marketing and brand development, as well as public relations and digital media development. The agency's employee total was not immediately available.
Pegula Sports and Entertainment, owned by Terry and Kim Pegula, oversees the family’s sports, music and entertainment holdings, which also include the Buffalo Marriott HarborCenter, (716) Food and Sport, and Black River Entertainment in Nashville, Tenn., among other brands.
