Morning Pitch: Bisons close out homestand against Scranton Sunday afternoon

The series between the Buffalo Bisons and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders concludes Sunday afternoon.

Game time: 1:05 p.m. (Gates open at noon).

Promotions: It's Father's Day and the first 3,000 fans through the Swan Street Game will receive a logo baseball, which can then bu used to have a catch with dad on the field after thse game. It's also Buster's Kids Club Sunday and all kids can run the bases after the game.

Weather: The weather.com forecast calls for partly cloudy skies during the morning hours. Thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. A few storms may be severe. High 83.

Yankees Prospects: Scranton is loaded with top prospects in the Yankees organization including the top two -- shortstop Gleyber Torres and outfielder Clint Frazier. Torres has played 20 Triple-A games and is batting .282 with 16 RBI. Frazier, the No. 2 prospect, is batting .264 with 35 RBI and 11 home runs.

No. 8 prospect Dustin Fowler leads the IL in triples (eight), extra-base hits (34) and total bases (135) while No. 11 Tyler Wade leads the league in runs scored (45).

Chance Adams, the No. 7 prospect, is the scheduled starter for the Rail Riders in the first game of Saturday's double header.

Homestand: Sunday concludes the homestand. The Bisons travel to Rochester for three games then to Syracuse for four, returning to Coca-Cola Field on June 26.
