Drivers picked up by state police for drugs, drinking in Chautauqua County

Raymond Burrows, 30, of Central Falls, R.I., was pulled over by state police while allegedly speeding on Route I-86 in North Harmony late Friday. Burrows also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a container containing marijuana vegetation was found, according to an arrest report.

James Rosengren, 48, of Frewsburg, was arrested on drunk driving charges after he was pulled over by state police for a possible traffic infraction at Bunce Road at Oak Hill Road in Frewsburg early Saturday. After Rosengren failed field sobriety tests, he was taken to the state police office in Jamestown, where his breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent, nearly twice the state's legal limit. He was released after being ordered to appear in the Carroll Town Court for proceedings later this month.
