Morning Pitch: Bisons open series with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre

After winning the series against Lehigh Valley, the Buffalo Bisons head into a three-day, four-game series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders. Here's the details for Friday's game:

Game time: 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 5 p.m.)

Promotion: fridaynightbash! It's a Bull Durham theme night with $3 food and beer specials from 5-6:30 p.m. along with post-game fireworks.

Weather: The forecast from weather.com has skies turning partly cloudy late. High 74.

Yankees Prospects: Scranton is loaded with top prospects in the Yankees organization including the top two -- shortstop Gleyber Torres and outfielder Clint Frazier. Torres has played 20 Triple-A games and is batting .282 with 16 RBI. Frazier, the No. 2 prospect, is batting .264 with 35 RBI and 11 home runs.

No. 8 prospect Dustin Fowler leads the IL in triples (eight), extra-base hits (34) and total bases (135) while No. 11 Tyler Wade leads the league in runs scored (45).

Chance Adams, the No. 7 prospect, is the scheduled starter for the Rail Riders in the first game of Saturday's double header.

Scranton is leading the league in team batting with a .271 average.
