Food Truck Thursdays at City Hall motored into a different, temporary location this week and for a few more weeks to come.
The popular lunchtime event usually is held at Niagara Square. But because of a restoration project going on at the McKinley Monument, the mobile restaurants have been moved temporarily to W. Genesee Street next to Statler Towers. The restoration project is expected to be finished by Sept. 6.
And by the looks of things on Thursday the hungry crowd didn't miss a beat.
Show dad some love.
Whether it's out to dinner, a new tie, some new tools, don't forget to do something special for Dad this Father's Day.
The special day of recognition was first celebrated on June 19, 1920 in the state of Washington. It wasn't until 1972 that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States.
So Happy Father's Day to all Dads.
