Bills open training camp July 27 at St. John Fisher College

The Buffalo Bills announced their 2017 training camp schedule Thursday, with 13 practices to be held at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford. The first of those will be a night practice, beginning at 5:30 p.m. July 27. This is the 18th straight year the Bills will hold camp in suburban Rochester.

"The start of training camp is right around the corner and we are excited to return to St. John Fisher College, the summer home of the Buffalo Bills since 2000,” Bills President Russ Brandon said in a statement. “We appreciate the hospitality that St. John Fisher and our fans in Rochester continue to provide us on a yearly basis.”

For the first time, the Bills will hold an open practice at New Era Field. That will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, and a ticket will be required. The team will also hold two ticketed practices on Sunday afternoons at St. John Fisher -- Aug. 6 and Aug. 13. Information on how to acquire tickets will be disbributed by the team at a later date.
