The University at Buffalo will be looking for a new head strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports. The contract of Nate Harvey, who held that position since 2013, has run out and it was not renewed by the university.
Harvey worked more than eight years at UB and earned a master’s degree in applied physiology from the university. He headed a five-person sports performance staff for UB and during his tenure coached 18 Olympic Trials qualifiers and more than 50 individual conference champions. Harvey remains a sponsored coach for Elitefts.com, an Ohio-based company that offers strength training products and services. The UB football program has its own separate strength and conditioning coach. That job is held by Ryan Cidzik.
