Napoli man jailed on parole charges following incident at his home

NAPOLI – Erik D. Allen, 35, surrendered without incident after a multi-agency search of the wooded area behind his home at 9705 Pigeon Valley Road here Saturday morning, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office reported Sunday.

Deputies responding to a report of a domestic incident at the home arrived to find that Allen had left the house and were told he might be carrying a firearm. The county Special Response Team, assisted by State Police, Erie County sheriff deputies, state parole officers, agents of the county Emergency Services unit and the Little Valley Fire Department then began the search.

Allen was taken into custody in the woods without incident about 7:15 a.m. Saturday. He was remanded to the county jail in Little Valley on a parole violation warrant and criminal charges are pending for his alleged criminal actions, according to the sheriff's office.
