Hamburg man charged with stealing from Cazenovia golfers' cars

Charles Tucker, 35, of Hamburg, was arrested by Buffalo police on drug and other charges after he was accused of stealing from golfers' cars at the Cazenovia Golf Course in Cazenovia Park Saturday afternoon.

After police received calls of a suspicious man checking car doors near the course, officers arrested Tucker. Tucker, of Howard Road, was reportedly seen about 2 p.m. stealing a GPS device from one golfer's unlocked car and stealing a bottle of prescription pain killers from another golfer's unlocked vehicle.

In addition to being charged with petit larceny, Tucker was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance when he was found to be carrying a crack pipe allegedly filled with residue, according to an arrest report.
