It’s time to crack down on drug and gun crimes
Last October, a Buffalo public works employee, convicted of felony drug and weapons convictions, received as his sentence 100 hours of community service and five years of probation. Now, while on probation, he has again been arrested and charged with similar offenses. Yet at the time of his arrest, he was still an employee of the City of Buffalo. Just what number of deaths must there be from drug overdoses or weapons wounds before these people are taken off the streets?
