Two Falls residents indicted on cocaine charges

Two Niagara Falls residents have been indicted on cocaine distribution charges by a federal grand jury, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Raymond Hopson, 32, and Lindsay Carrier, 32, each was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine base, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, and maintaining a drug involved premises. The charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of  life in prison.

From July and Nov. 9, 2016, and between April and May 17, Hopson and Carrier allegedly conspired with others to possess and sell crack cocaine in the Niagara Falls area.
