PASSPORT – The Western New York Peace Center sponsors a presentation, “Understanding ICE and Border Patrol in Western New York,” at 7 p.m. today in the Network for Religious Communities, 1272 Delaware Ave. Speakers will be Dr. John Lory Ghertner of the Wayne County Migrant Support Service and Greater Rochester Coalition for Immigration Justice, and Peter Mares of the Rural Migrant Ministry.

TEST LAB – Jim Guido of WNY STEM Hub will lead a discussion of scientific issues at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the IMAGINE Buffalo lunchtime lecture series in the Central Library on Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo.
The program will begin at noon in the Ring of Knowledge on the library’s main floor with a Great Courses video entitled, “Challenging Mainstream Science From Within.”
Admission is free. You can bring a lunch or purchase one at the library’s Fables Cafe nearby. The series is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature.
