Morning Pitch: Bisons close homestand - weather permitting

Promotion: The first 3,000 fans get a Bisons license plate frame. It’s also Dog Day at the ballpark. Fans can bring their dog to the game. They must enter via the centerfield gate. There will be a parade on the field for the dogs at 12:30 p.m.

Last game: Pawtucket beat the Bisons, 5-3 on Saturday to snap a nine-game losing streak.

Pitching: The Bisons' scheduled starter Sunday is to be determined. Henry Owens (3-2, 3.22) is slated to pitch for the PawSox.

Prospect watch: Top prospect for the Bisons is first baseman Rowdy Tellez. The top positional prospect for the Red Sox in Pawtucket is first baseman Sam Travis. He’s rated No. 3 in the Boston system by MLB.com. Travis has good power potential and hits for extra bases gap-to-gap. He’s batting .295. He and Kyle Schwarber led Indiana to the College World Series in 2013.

WCC Race: Chicken Wing won for a 10th time this season. Cheese and Atomic have four wins apiece.

Tickets: $9.50 to $15.50.

The homestand: Sunday’s game is the conclusion of the seven-game homestand for the Bisons. Buffalo is off Monday. The Herd starts a seven-game road trip with a three-game series against Gwinnett in Atlanta starting Tuesday.
