A Jamestown couple was arrested on drug and child endangerment charges Friday following a police raid on their Sampson Street residence.
Odessin M. McBride, 38, and Ashley R. McBride, 33, were in the residence with their 4-year-old child, officers from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and New York State Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant about 10 a.m. Friday. Inside, officers found 4.5 ounces cocaine and 25 grams of crack cocaine. Officers also seized an unspecified amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and a set of brass knuckles during their search.
Odessin McBride and Ashley McBride both were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree; criminal use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child.
Both were being held Friday at the Jamestown City Jail pending their arraignment on the charges.
