A 911 call about a burglary in progress on Delaware Avenue near the city line with Kenmore led to the felony arrest of four men Friday night. Buffalo police rushed to the scene of the break-in on the Buffalo side of Kenmore Avenue and stopped a car carrying the four suspects at about 8:30 p.m.
Charged with felony counts of second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and a felony count of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana were: Joshua Barners, 26, of Kenmore Avenue; David C. Williams Jr., 19, of Ivanhoe Road, Cheektowaga; Marjon Bailey, 28, of LaSalle Avenue and Nurrell Foster, 22, of Edison Street.
All four were charged with possession of the 9mm handgun and the two pounds of marijuana police reported finding in their vehicle. Officers also reported seizing $15,297.35 in cash from the suspects.
