Robbers put knife to throat of Niagara Falls gas station clerk

Two men who robbed a Valero gas station in Niagara Falls on Monday night held a knife to the clerk's throat, according to a Niagara Falls police report.

The robbers entered the gas station at Ferry Avenue and 19th Street at about 11:43 p.m. and demanded money from the store's clerk. One of the robbers went around the counter and held a knife to the clerk's throat, according to the report.

One of the assailants restrained the clerk while the other grabbed cash from the register, the clerk told police.

The other robber knocked the clerk to the ground as they fled, the report said.
