PETAL POWER – The Kenmore Mercy Hospital Auxiliary will hold a plant sale in the hospital lobby from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, offering a large variety of hanging baskets and potted plants. Proceeds benefit the hospital.

READY TO ROLL – The annual Ride For Roswell Beer Blast, supporting the Danielle’s Wild Birds/Jumbo’s team in the June 24 bicycling fundraiser, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Monsignor Nash Council Knights of Columbus Hall, 261 S. Legion Drive.

The Buffalo Choral Arts Society performs Friday evening in the Riviera Theatre.

CURTAIN TIME – The award-winning Buffalo Choral Arts Society, a 110-member community chorus directed by Marcia A. Giambrone, returns at 7:30 p.m. Friday to the Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda, with “Accent on Broadway!,” a concert of favorite show tunes. FUNNY BONES – The Seneca Street Community Development Corp., which provides after-school and summer programs for youth in the Seneca Babcock community, will host an evening of stand-up and improv comedy at 8 p.m. Friday in Rob’s Comedy Playhouse, 1340 N. Forest Road, Amherst.

CALLING VETS – All who have served in the military are invited to a Vet Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in AMVETS Post 13, 25 Review Place.
There will be live music from the Buffalo Dolls and Allison Philippone, free T-shirts and stuffed backpacks, and veteran service info from the University at Buffalo Dental School, the VA Western New York Healthcare System and the Vets Outreach Center.
