Wednesday will be warm and windy, according to the National Weather Service.

High temperatures today will reach the mid-80s away from the Great Lakes.

Forecasters are predicting a high around 86 for Springville, 82 in Niagara Falls and 87 in Olean. In Buffalo, a high is expected around 78 degrees.

Winds may gust up to 40 mph this afternoon, the weather service said.

Tonight will stay warm, with lows dipping only into the upper 60s.

Highs are expected to reach the low 80s again on Thursday, but with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening.
