Chuck Hossfeld

Lowdown: Hossfeld began driving asphalt Modifieds at age 18 for the late Bill Colton Sr., and has been a winning championship driver ever since. Once regarded as one of the young guns, Hossfeld is now a seasoned veteran of the sport. He enjoyed a brief career on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2000 and 2001 posting one career top-10 finish in ten appearances. Hossfeld also raced on dirt for a season two years ago, winning a Sportsman race at Merrittville Speedway. His racing nickname is "The Hotshoe."

Accomplishments: Hossfeld has won over 100 asphalt Modified races in his career. Included in that victory total are three triumphs in the Race of Champions 200 at Oswego Speedway,   He has captured asphalt Modified track points championships at Lancaster, Spencer Speedway, New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway and is a three time ROC Asphalt Modified Series titlist. Hossfeld has won on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour seven times as well highlighted by three career wins at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH. He is a six time winner of Lancaster's U.S. Open including five wins in Modifieds and a single in the Sportsman.

Favorite food: Coors Light and "hot" chicken wings.

Favorite music: "If it's newer music, I love the Tragically Hip and if it's older music I love Led Zeppelin."

Hobbies: Enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and camping. Also cherishes time spent with girlfriend Kelli Kirkpatrick.
