City of Tonawanda holding seminar for small businesses

The City of Tonawanda will hold a small business seminar from 9 to 11 a.m. May 17 in the small conference room at City Hall, 200 Niagara St.

Anyone who has a small business or is thinking about starting one in the City of Tonawanda is invited to attend.

Representatives from the Small Business Development Center, Buffalo Niagara SCORE and the Small Business Administration will be there. The seminar is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas and Mayor Rick Davis.

"We wanted to bring all of the players together in one room to answer questions, mentor and make sure if someone wants to open up a business in the city they are given sound advice," said Davis.
