The newest resident at the Buffalo Zoo is a 22-day-old reindeer.
The baby male Scandinavian reindeer was born April 18 at the zoo, the zoo announced Wednesday.
Members of the public will be able to vote for the reindeer's name, with the results to be announced at noon Sunday. The four name choices are: Pulsar, Yukon, Thor and Max. Votes can be cast on the Zoo's social media pages.
The reindeer's parents are 6-year-old Solara and 3-year-old Apollo. It's the first successful reindeer birth at the zoo since 2014. There have been more than 100 reindeer births at the zoo since 1970, officials said.
The reindeer will make his public debut on Sunday when his name is announced.
