Elmwood Avenue Pep Boys store sold to investor

An Elmwood Avenue Pep Boys auto parts store has been sold.

Real estate investor Felix Berenstein of Long Island, acting through Black Sea Properties LLC, paid $2.65 million to acquire the 19,676-square-foot retail building at 1996 Elmwood from the Ricco Louis Lagomarsino Testamentary Trust in San Francisco.

The leased store, which is not affected by the property sale, sits on 1.86 acres as an "outparcel" to a retail strip center anchored by Home Depot. It's assessed at $1.276 million.
