Medina man, 21, accused of cursing at cops, trying to headbutt lieutenant

A 21-year-old Medina man is facing several charges after Buffalo police say he refused to listen to them, screamed and yelled obscenities at officers, tried to headbutt a lieutenant when he was taken to Central Booking and refused to let anyone search him in the cellblock.

Cooper Hardiman's night to remember started a little after 2:30 Sunday morning when he was kicked out of Mulligan's Brick Bar at 229 Allen St. in Allentown. A police report doesn't say why Hardiman was booted from the bar, but it does say he ignored officers' repeated requests to leave the area near Mulligan's.

Hardiman then began yelling and cursing at the officers. After he was taken into custody, he tried headbutting the lieutenant at Central Booking in the face, according to the police report.

Hardiman is charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration and harassment.
