Heroin dealer pleads guilty to selling drugs from his home

A Buffalo man who was selling heroin from his Central Park home pleaded guilty to two felonies in Erie County Court on Thursday.

In July 2016, narcotics officers from Buffalo and Lackawanna police departments executed a search warrant at Eric Mitchell's home and recovered an ounce of heroin mixed with fentanyl, along with two digital scales with drug residue on them. Mitchell shared the home with his girlfriend and child.

In accepting the plea, Judge Sheila A. DiTullio agreed to consider a sentence that is less than the maximum of 15 years in prison when Mitchell returns to court on July 13.
