Evans Garden Club will hold workshops from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 6 and 10 a.m. to noon May 10 to prepare for the annual plant sale scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13 at the Evans Center Fire Hall in Angola. For locations of the workshops, call 947-4571.

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold a Fairy and Gnome Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 6 and Fairy Garden Make-It Take-It Workshops that day at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Entries from the Fairy and Gnome House Contest will be displayed May 6-14. See prices and details here.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. May 9 in Kenmore United Methodist Church, Landers Road. At 11 a.m., master gardener Mary Jane Bolo will present a landscape design program, “Location, Location, Location,” and discuss three rules to increase curb appeal. A perennial May basket exchange is planned. Guests welcome.

Countryside Garden Club of Elma will tour the Kazoo Factory in Eden May 10. Lunch at a local restaurant will follow.

Amana Garden Club will meet at 11 a.m. May 10 in Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 630 Main St., West Seneca. Following the business meeting and lunch, members will participate in an auction of perennials and garden items led by auctioneer Connie Trawinski. Visitors welcome.

Hamburg Garden Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. May 10 at Lockwood’s, 4484 Clark St., Hamburg. Owner Harry Lockwood will lead a greenhouse tour. Master gardeners Sally Cunningham and Marge Vogel will highlight new and superior plants. Following a presentation by Cunningham, members will hold a business meeting with refreshments. Town & Country Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 11 in Transit Middle School, 8730 Transit Road, East Amherst. Connie Oswald Stofka will present “45 Gardening Tips in 45 Minutes.” Guests welcome.
