NASA extends Delaware North contract at space center complex

NASA awarded Delaware North an eight-year extension to its concessions agreement to continue operating the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Delaware North in 2010 was selected for an agreement with a 10-year base period and options for another 10 years. Delaware North said the extension paves the way for the company to keep operating the visitor complex to 2028. The complex includes attractions such as the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Delaware North said the complex set an annual attendance record in 2016.
