Foxygen set to perform at the Tralf

Foxygen's latest tour itinerary is set to include a Buffalo stop at 8 p.m. July 26 in the Tralf Music Hall (622 Main St.).

Since debuting in 2012, the Los Angeles duo of Sam France and Jonathan Rado has been steadily releasing a collection of dense, classic rock-indebted pop records that touch upon a variety of musical influences including '70s glam, British Invasion, psych-rock, '60s folk and doo-wop. Sometimes overstuffed, but never at a lack of ideas, the eccentric, experimental band's output has turned Foxygen into must-see live entertainment.

The pair recently shared its fourth studio album, the unsurprisingly grandiose "Hang," at the beginning of the new year.

Tickets are $20 in advance and will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 5 (box office, Ticketmaster or charge by phone at 852-2860). Further event details can be found here
