Williamsville East athletes to make college commitments official during ceremony Wednesday

Five Williamsville East athletes will sign letters of intent to play their respective sports in college at either the Division I or II levels during a ceremony at the school's cafeteria at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Track star Alanna Krammer will continue her career at University at Buffalo. She currently holds six school records for the Flames.

A pair of field hockey players will take their talents to Division II Mercyhurst in Leah Rogers and Hayley Skidmore. Skidmore earned first team All-WNY this past season.

Two-time All-WNY volleyball selection Alexis Novak is heading to Division II Florida Southern. She had 609 kills and 71 aces in helping the Flames reach their second straight state final four.

ECIC all-star softball selection Jessica Weaver, a three-year starter, will play at Division II Fairmont. She posted a 9-4 record and also hit .303 last year.
