NFL Draft position grades: Edge rushers

[2017 Draft Rankings: WR | QB | RBTE | OL | CB | S | LB | DT | Edge]

EDGE RUSHERS

Class Grade: A. Myles Garrett, who looks like the next Von Miller, highlights the group, but there will be pass rushers available into the third day of the draft who can contribute. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein described edge rushers as falling into one of two categories: projection prospect or production prospect. This class has both, with Taco Charlton highlighting the “projections” and Derek Barnett the “production” players. … Alabama’s Tim Williams has boom-or-bust potential based on his size and character questions. … Sleeper alert: Both Sports Illustrated’s Peter King and ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. have floated Derek Barnett’s name as a possibility for the Bills at No. 10.
