NFL Draft Position Grades: Wide receiver

[2017 Draft Rankings: WR | QB | RBTE | OL | CB | S | LB | DT | Edge]

Class Grade: A+. If it had only been limited to seniors, this would be an impressive group. But add the more than 20 underclassmen who are part of it, and you have what ranks as arguably the strongest position in the draft. There are at least three receivers who are expected to be chosen in the first round: Davis, Williams, and Ross. The ankle injury that Davis suffered while training for the Combine hasn’t gotten in the way of his draft stock at all. Upwards of a half-dozen other players at the position should be selected in the second and third rounds.

Day One

Corey Davis, Western Michigan, 6-3, 209 pounds

Mike Williams, Clemson, 6-4, 218 pounds

John Ross, Washington, 5-11, 188 pounds

Day Two

Curtis Samuel, Ohio State, 5-11, 196 pounds

Chris Godwin, Penn State, 6-1, 209 pounds

Zay Jones, East Carolina, 6-2, 201 pounds

ArDarius Stewart, Alabama, 5-11, 204 pounds

Cooper Kupp, Eastern Michigan, 6-2, 204 pounds

JuJu Smith-Schuster, USC, 6-1, 215 pounds

Day Three

Taywan Taylor, Western Kentucky, 5-11, 203 pounds
