NFL Draft Position Grades: Quarterback

[2017 Draft Rankings: WR | QB | RBTE | OL | CB | S | LB | DT | Edge]

Class Grade: C. This is not a strong quarterback class. If it was, there would be little doubt about a player from the position being selected with the top pick. Despite their desperation to find a franchise QB, the Browns aren’t expected to use the No. 1 overall choice on one. In fact, there are real questions as to whether a quarterback will even go in the top 10. The fact Trubisky, who has all of 13 career starts, is considered the best of the group pretty well says it all about the 2017 crop. All of them have significant drawbacks.
