Forget dumpster diving. Students from two schools will instead participate in a dumpster mural design contest to celebrate Earth Day at the Fashion Outlets Mall in Niagara Falls.
Students from Charter Middle School for Applied Technologies in Buffalo and Tonawanda High School will create designs to demonstrate their vision of Earth Day and the design will be displayed on dumpsters outside the mall, from Friday, April 21 through Monday, April 24.
Visitors to the mall will be asked to vote on their favorite design on the Guard Contracting Corp. Facebook page. The winning school, which will be announced Tuesday, will receive a $500 donation from the business, a full-service roll off dumpster and transportation company.
