JAMESTOWN – Four people were arrested on drug charges Friday following a raid at a Norwood Avenue residence where narcotics were being sold, Jamestown police said.
Investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, along with agents from the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, conducted the raid about 9:14 a.m. and seized methamphetamine and prescription medications.
Andrew C. Bennett, 28, was charged criminal possession of drug paraphernalia; David R. Hare, 55, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree; and Patricia J. Bargy, 58, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree for possessing methamphetamine, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree for possessing illegally obtained prescription pills.
Also arrested was Destiny J. Franze-Hare, 28, after police observed her leaving in a vehicle from the Norwood Avenue address just before the raid. Franze-Hare's vehicle was impounded after methamphetamine, prescription pills and LSD were found, police said. She was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
All were being held in the city jail pending arraignments.
