Watch: 'Inside the NBA' crew is confused by Dyngus Day

TNT cameras were in Cleveland on Monday for the Cavaliers playoff game against the Pacers, which provided ample opportunity to get shots of the Dyngus Day celebration.

TNT's "Inside the NBA" panel, however, was bemused by the holiday, which is celebrated in cities with large Polish-American communities.

National Pierogi Day? National Doughnut Day? "This is celebrated all over the country," host Ernie Johnson told an incredulous panel of Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley as a tweet from Paula's Donuts popped up on the screen.

"I just heard about it today, where's it been all these years?" Barkley asked.

"Mainly in Buffalo," Johnson responded. "Buffalo's a big hotbed for Dyngus Day."

But don't get them started on the strange displays of affection the holiday involves.

"On this holiday," Johnson started, "guys who see a woman who is attractive to them–"

"Better get out of Cleveland!" Barkley interjected.

But after learning about the squirt guns and pussywillows, Smith wasn't convinced.

"All I can see is a guy in court going, 'It was Dyngus Day, and I took the pussywillow, and I took the squirt gun,' ... [bam], 10 years!"

Somebody get these guys a few rounds of Krupnik.
