The Baltimore Orioles affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, come in for the only time this season with a three-game series starting tonight. It's the first game of the Bisons' second home stand of the season, six games in six days. The Bisons and Tide will play another 6:05 game on Wednesday and finish the series with a 1:05 start on Thursday. The Columbus Clippers come to town on Friday night for the first of a three-game set. Afternoon games will follow on Saturday and Sunday. Tonight, right-hander Casey Lawrence (0-0, 0.00) will make his second start of the season for Buffalo against right-hander Gabriel Ynoa (0-2) of the Tides.

Despite finishing last in the International League's South Division in 2016, Norfolk won last year's season series from the Bisons, 4-2, going 2-1 at home and on the road against the Herd. Buffalo has taken the season series from Norfolk only once in the last five seasons.

The Bisons lead the I.L. with a 2.83 staff earned-run average while Norfolk is 13th with a 6.86 mark. Each team sports a .244 collective batting average.
