The African Violet & Gesneriad Society of Western New York will meet at 7 p.m. April 18 at the Greenfield Health & Rehab facility. Topic: Show preparation. Email: judyoneil1945@gmail.com for detailed directions.

Lancaster Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. April 19 in St. John's Lutheran Hall, 55 Pleasant Ave. John Farfaglia will present "What Bugs You: 10 New and Emerging Garden Pests and How to Control Them." All are welcome.

Cinderella Isle Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. April 20 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. Lyn Chimera will present a program on planting and caring for container gardens, plant choices and creative containers. Call Julie Furminger at 833-3899.

The Garden Club of the Tonawandas will meet at 7 p.m. April 20 in the community room at Tonawanda City Hall. Christine Wilkolaski, past president of the Niagara Frontier Koi and Pond Club, will discuss water gardens and ponds. All are welcome.
