A 28-year-old man who was struck by gunfire Friday in the 100 block of Edison Avenue appears to have been the victim of a drive-by shooting, according to Buffalo Police.
Northeast District officers responded to the call about 2:45 p.m. The man's identity was not released by police, who said his injuries appear to be serious. He wastaken to Erie County Medical Center.
Police were still investigating the shooting Friday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call or text the Buffalo Police Department's Confidential TIPCALL line at 847-2255.
