The former owner of two Elma used car dealerships has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree tax fraud, the state Department of Taxation and Finance said Tuesday.
Christopher R. Glinski, 39, of Octane Enterprises, failed to forward $143,243 in sales tax his businesses collected from 2012 through 2015, the department said in a news release.
Glinski, who now lives in South Carolina, operated two Octane Auto Sales and Service locations, at 1721 Transit Road and 6535 Seneca St. He is no longer the owner of either business, officials said.
Glinski is scheduled to be sentenced on the felony charge on June 22 and faces up to four years in prison.
