Days after being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, members of the legendary progressive rock enclave Yes have announced a date at the Seneca Niagara Casino.

Though the group performed at the UB Center for the Arts last fall beneath the moniker Anderson Rabin & Wakeman, when Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman come back to the area on Oct. 7, they will be trading beneath the banner "Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman."

If this all sounds like the trademark minutiae of a particularly stodgy old law firm, for founding member Anderson, the reclaiming of the Yes name is a meaningful one, since several of his former bandmates have been touring as, simply, Yes, sans his participation, for the better part of a decade.

“It's very simple," Anderson said in a news release announcing the name-change and tour. “The fans want it, we want it and it's our right to use the name. YES music is in our DNA!”

Tickets for the Oct. 7 show at the Events Center, Seneca Niagara Casino, will go on sale to the general public at noon on July 21, through Ticketmaster.com. Prices start at $45.
