T-Pain will return to Western New York with a performance at 8 p.m. April 28 in the Rapids Theatre (1711 Main St., Niagara Falls).
Presented by the Niagara University Traditions Committee, the engaging Florida-born musician may be best known for popularizing the use of auto-tune, also known as a "Hard & B" style of music. His distinct vocals have been featured on dozens of chart-topping singles including "Buy U a Drink" and "Bartender."
The Grammy-winning hip-hop star recently was in town to serve as a more-than-grateful fill in for Coolio at Canalside this past summer. His forthcoming album, the delayed "Stoicville: The Phoenix," is rumored to drop sometime this year.
A limited number of tickets for the general public are currently on sale for $25-$30 (box office, Ticketfly or charge by phone at 877-435-9849). Niagara University students will have a special $10 ticket available to purchase. Further event details can be found here.
