Get yourself ready for today's #PrepTalkLive action with everything you need to know about the day ahead in high school sports.

What to watch for Friday

1. Boys lacrosse - Silver Creek at Eden, 5 p.m. (POSTPONED)

Eden (4-0, 2-0) looks to stay unbeaten against Silver Creek (0-1, 0-1) in one of two games still scheduled as of last night.

The Raiders have Class D wins over Salamanca and Gowanda and nonleaguers over Iroquois and West Seneca East. The Black Knights last their lone game of the year to Medina, 17-10.

2. Girls lacrosse - Mount St. Mary at West Seneca West, 7 p.m. (POSTPONED)

West Seneca West (1-0) hosts Mount St. Mary (0-1) in a public-private clash under the lights.

Paige Cocina, Claire Purdy and Sam Keane each scored three times in the Indians' 18-6 win over Eden on Wednesday.

The Thunder fell to East Aurora last week, 7-3. Reigning Cathlolic Offensive MVP Kaitlyn Hart and All-Catholic midfielder Molly Meegan are the top returning member for MSM.

3. Baseball - Eden at North Collins, 4:15 p.m. (POSTPONED)

North Collins (1-1) hosting Eden (1-0) is one of a handful of baseball games not postponed as of last night. Both should contend for division titles this season.

The Eagles beat Silver Creek, 13-10, in their first game on Monday and dropped a 6-2 decision to Lake Shore on Wednesday. CCAA East II first teamers Dylon Mercado, Dylan Winter and Trevor Mercado return to lead North Collins this season.

The Raiders topped Alden, 14-6, in their season opener on Wednesday. Sawyer Overhoff, who was honorable mention All Western New York last season, had three doubles and three RBIs in the game.

4. Softball - Hamburg at Williamsville North, 4:45 p.m. (POSTPONED)

One of the few softball games still on as of last night is this ECIC I matchup between Hamburg (1-0, 1-0) and Williamsville North (0-1, 0-1). The teams split meetings last season.

The Bulldogs won their season and league opener on Tuesday against West Seneca West, 4-3. Leah Carbarga led the way going 4-4 at the plate with two RBIs.

The Spartans lost to Lancaster on Wednesday, 6-4, in their season and league opener. They went 13-10 overall last year and 7-7 in ECIC I.
