Nickell Robey-Coleman is following Robert Woods back to Southern California.
Robey-Coleman, the former Buffalo Bills' cornerback, signed Friday with the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced. It's a homecoming of sorts for the Florida native who played his college football at Southern Cal. Robey-Coleman will play his home games next year in the Coliseum, where the Trojans played.
A former undrafted free agent, Robey-Coleman played in all 64 games for the Bills over the past four seasons, with 15 starts. He has five sacks and three interceptions in his career, two of which he has returned for touchdowns. One of those came against the Rams in 2016, helping the Bills to a win in Week Five.
The analytics website Pro Football Focus ranked Robey-Coleman second among slot cornerbacks with a 74.86 passer rating allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
