A new batch of tour dates from the Naked and Famous will include a Buffalo stop at 7 p.m. June 12 in the Town Ballroom (681 S. Main St.).
The slick, New Zealand-bred synth-pop group made a big splash in 2011 with the shimmering single "Young Blood," a cut from its glossy and grand debut record "Passive Me, Aggressive You." The album's success has the band in heavy rotation on alternative rock radio.
The Naked and Famous shared its third album, the heavy-themed "Simple Forms," in the fall of 2016. The record was completed following the break up of vocalists Thom Powers and Alisa Xayalith.
The group's summer dates will follow a string of supporting gigs opening for Blink-182 this spring.
