Niagara Falls police seek gunman in robbery of Buffalo Avenue 7-Eleven

A gunman held up a Buffalo Avenue convenience store in Niagara Falls Monday, and police are asking for the public's help.

An employee at the 7-Eleven store at 7610 Buffalo Ave., told police that a man entered the business with what appeared to be a long gun under a cloth about 3:20 a.m. Monday. The employee said the thief ordered him to empty the cash register and drop money from a safe into a bag and hand it over to him. Afterward, police said, the thief left the store and fled north down an alleyway between 76th and 77th streets.

The suspect was described as a black man, about 6 feet tall and of slender build, wearing a blue jacket and pants, a black ski mask and white gloves.
