Olmsted parks golf passes now on sale

Golf passes for the 2017 season are on sale for the three Buffalo Olmsted Parks golf courses: Cazenovia, Delaware and South Park.

Weather permitting, the season is scheduled to open April 22.

“We look forward to welcoming golfers back and remind our loyal patrons that we continue to offer the most affordable golf in town,” Olmsted Parks Conservancy Executive Director Stephanie Crockatt said. “The Olmsted park system is home to three public courses totaling 36 holes, on which golfers enjoyed more than 51,000 rounds last year,”

A seasonal pass includes golf at all three Olmsted courses. FootGolf, a hybrid of golf and soccer, returns for a third season to Delaware Park.

Golf season passes can also be purchased from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays by appointment at the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park through Golf Operations Manager Dave Hoover by phone at 838-1249, Ext. 19, or email, dave@bfloparks.org.

Seasonal passes cost $235 for city residents and $300 for nonresidents, with discounts for seniors and those 16 and younger. Power carts are available for $12 for nine holes and $20 for 18 holes. For complete golf schedule details, league or tournament permits, and gift certificates, contact Hoover or visit bfloparks.org/golf.
