Depew warehouse gets new owner in $4.6M sale

A Boston-based real estate investment firm has acquired a Depew warehouse property for $4.6 million.

Novaya Real Estate Ventures, through 3366 Walden LLC, bought the sprawling single-story warehouse from Walden Avenue Partners Inc., controlled by David Montana of Kinderhook, N.Y.

Built in 1973, the 109,300-square-foot building sits on 8.37 acres just east of Transit Road. It's home to Bunzl Distribution USA, the St. Louis-based U.S. division of Bunzl Plc, an international distribution and outsourcing group. The company owns and operates more than 100 warehouses serving all 50 states and Puerto Rico, as well as Canada, the Caribbean and parts of Mexico. It employs more than 4,000 and distributes 400,000 items.
