An Erie County jury Tuesday returned a guilty verdict after an 11-day trial of Michael Reibel of Buffalo.

Reibel, 40, was convicted of stalking in the third degree, criminal contempt in the first degree, burglary in the second degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, after stalking his former girlfriend and violating an order of protection several times, according to officials.

The events started on May 30, 2015, according to officials.

The county jury also found Reibel guilty of breaking into the victim’s home on July 21, 2015, abducting her and holding her against her will for several hours, officials said.

The verdict came after three hours of deliberation Tuesday.

Riebel was remanded to jail without bail and faces a maximum sentence of 16 1/3 to 19 years in prison when he is sentenced on May 12.
